Many of Reading Rowing Club’s Masters have very strong rowing backgrounds, but others learnt to row from scratch at Reading and progressed to scoop National-level wins.

With nearly 40 members the current men’s Masters Squad is thriving and we always welcome new potential “Vets” (27 years+).

Our strong and competitive core trains and races hard throughout the year – especially across the Masters C to H categories. Others row and scull mainly for fun and fitness on one of the Thames’ finest stretches.

Our main outings are on Saturday and Sunday mornings throughout the year, with Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the Summer. We have qualified coaches and access to the Club’s well-equipped weights room and ergos.
